ADG Legal Welcome's New Partner Paul Bugingo

ADG Legal has appointed Paul Bugingo as a Partner in Dubai and will serve as the Managing Partner for our Abu Dhabi office in the UAE. He will be joining the firm’s Corporate and Commercial practice, along with a team of six seasoned professionals, to strengthen the firm’s wide corporate and commercial offerings.

Paul Bugingo is an attorney specializing in energy and infrastructure with over 22 years of experience advising on projects throughout Africa.

He has guided a diverse range of clients, including governments, utilities, regulators, multilateral organizations, and private companies in relation to projects in various countries such as Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda, Somaliland, Djibouti, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, and Swaziland.

Paul’s extensive experience covers multiple industries such as oil and gas, electricity, mining and natural resources, airports, ports, water and wastewater, and hotels and leisure. His expertise includes advising on various aspects of project development, such as regulation, restructuring, and privatization, as well as joint ventures, acquisitions, and disposals. Paul received his Law Degree from the University of Reading in the UK and qualified as a Solicitor in 1995.
